About us
A former network engineer tired of seeing the same old landscape material I decided to start a wholesale palm and cycad company with the consulting help of a current NASA plant physiologist and former president of the Central Florida Palm and Cycad Society. This combination provides the operation and maintenance of a nursery with the expertise to offer a suitable alternative to the common and over-used landscape material in our area.
Why container-grown palms?
Ever notice in new housing developments how large palms are brought in to provide instant landscaping at a costly price? These palms are field-grown for several years, often times under less than optimal conditions. Though the palms usually survive the digging and re-planting process, they may take several years to recover (if at all) and almost never appear to thrive.
